From Christy:  We are so excited to share another round of these dope photos taken by our lovely friend Ellie from Storyboxcollection.  Here is our first post of the amazing photography by Ellie at powder canyon park. This time around my sister and I decided to channel our inner boho chic and go for a more free-spirited vibe.  I absolutely love long flowy dresses and obsessed with the color mint, one of my favorite colors.   They are easy, breezy, and you can dress them up or down effortlessly.   

You can easily take you favorite spring/summer dress and wear it for fall by just adding a leather jacket or a chunky knit cardigan and some booties.  Throw on some tights or leggings too if you need extra warmth for your legs.   And how amazing is my sisters floral kimono?  So fun!  I always have a great ‘ol time being silly and goofy with my sister, it’s what we do best. ..and I MISS her terribly!

From Leah:  We took these shots right before I made the big move to the midwest.  I always have a blast with my sister.  As you can tell, I don’t like being on camera.  I’m usually the person behind the scenes, so trying to model or even pose is hilarious to me.  I tried…I seriously just followed what my sister does and laugh hysterically moments right after.  Thanks to Ellie for baring with me! HAHA!  My sister can always make me laugh.  Writing this post really makes me miss her.  I love these pictures because it takes me back at the moment…with my sister in CA.

Here are my two fave blushes by NARS.  Blush is definitely an essential must have in my every day look.  It just effortlessly brightens up any face from dull to alive.   Lovejoy has a shimmery, rosy terra-cotta shade.  Lovejoy can be worn on a every day basis due to it’s warm/natural tone.  Orgasm is a peachy pink powder that is sheer, highly pigmented, and has a golden shimmer.  Orgasm can also be worn on an every day basis, but brush on lightly because there is a hint of gold shimmer.   I use orgasm more in the evening because it gives my face a glow from the hint of shimmer; nonetheless, it’s still fab during the day for those that love a peachy pink cheek.

Naked

This is an amazing palette that my sister and I have been religiously rockin throughout the whole year.  It’s very versatile and lasts all day.  For a lasting 24 hour stay, I suggest using a primer before applying the eyeshadow.  You can wear basic warm/neutral shades at work or vamp it up for the night with a smokey eye.  LOVE!

Pucker Up

Whether you are going on a blind date or celebrating at a holiday party, you can never go wrong with putting on your favorite red lipstick. It’s definitely one of the essential things every girl should have in her makeup bag. It’s bold, edgy, fun, and always makes a statement.

After rummaging through my room for weeks in search for my favorite MAC viva glam red lipstick, I finally accepted the fact that I lost it. While at my weekly trips to Target, I stumbled upon the Revlon aisle and picked up a new shade of red called Fire & Ice. I love the brightness and pop of the shade. It’s a great replacement, and a great bargain. Score!
